Water Feature design & construction: Header H1

The Water feature covers a vast array of stand alone and integrated features from formal to natural and can be functional or artistic. They came in many sizes off the shelf or can be bespoke and tailored with a design and finish to suit you and your environment.

Self contained water features: Header H2

Are a relatively quick and cost effective way to bring water in to your landscape. These features are a beautiful addition to any garden and can create a focus in a larger area or can be fitted in to even the smallest of courtyards or corners and bring with them the soft and relaxing sound and movement of water. These features include natural stones and monoliths, urns, statues and sculptures are usually constructed of stone, metal, or resin and can feature bubbling, cascading or gentle adhering sheets of water. Typically constructed by concealing a reservoir base with a pump, setting the water feature on top and then concealing and blending it in to the surrounds often with rocks and pebbles and planting and bark. This leaves no standing water and allows you to have the feature running as and when you can enjoy it the most. We usually add lighting to these features to allow extended enjoyment. These make a great gift; imagine the excitement of recieving a fully installed and operational water feature, that’s a gift you would cherish and remember.

Natural look water features: Header 2

We design and construct natural looking water features including waterfalls and stream sections. These are constructed free-style allowing us to listen to the stone and let the environment dictate the finish. this makes every one a unique piece of natural art. They are constructed in stone and pebble over a flexible liner because concrete doesn’t appear in the wild. The reservoir pumps and pipes are concealed and we add plants and blend it in to the surrounding profile and landscape to give that always been here look.

 Formal water features: Header 2

Formal water features include reflection or cloud pools, rills, spillways, Lily ponds, fountains and jets. We can design and construct a reflection pool/cloud pool to let the water mirror the surrounding landscape or sky overhead. These are typically a shallow construction with a deep black lining and concealed pump and filtration systems to maintain water quality and encourage a still and clear pool. Rills are a longer narrower construction often used as a boundary between  areas, as a central focus or to lead you through a landscape. They typically have concealed pumps, filters and pipework and can contain waterfall or stepped sections to follow a gradient and water jets to add movement and interest. They can be planted within or alongside. Fountain jets allow us to create water features within existing pools or as independent features. They can appear from a wall or a pool and can be run independently. A wide range of heads are available some are programmable and can dance or follow patterns on request.

Lights and lighting: can be added to any water feature to increase the time that you can enjoy it for. We use low voltage fully waterproof lighting that can be used in or around the water to highlight specific features or plants creating stunning displays.
